🎣 WORMIT WEEKLY REPORT – 28 APRIL 2025 🎣

🌸 The Loch is Blooming – Big Benders Arriving, Buzzer Magic & a Busy Bank Holiday

We were chuffed to welcome Mr Chen and his group from Japan, and Ell Gunn with her friend all the way from Texas. Both parties had brilliant sessions under the expert guidance of Craig and Scott — top company, top fish.

🎯 Catch Highlights

Craig Horsburgh – Nearly 30 fish in a 4-hour blitz on Saturday evening.
Mr Chen & Group (Japan) – Buzzers and dries doing damage in the daytime.
Ell Gunn (Texas) – First-time visitors landing fish and loving the experience.

Evening fishing has been electric — dries, buzzers, and stripped lures tearing it up as the light drops.

🧠 Tactics That Are Working

✅ Floaters, midge tips, and intermediates — all productive depending on time of day.
✅ Buzzers & Diawls (size 14/12) – black, olive, and red rib proving deadly.
✅ CDCs, F-Flies and dries are taking fish late afternoon onwards.
✅ Bung tactics remain steady — Fabs and suspended naturals in combination.
✅ Stripped boobies and lures triggering explosive takes before dark.

🐟 Stocking & Water Conditions

This Thursday sees a fresh batch of fish hitting the loch — 3lb to 4.5lb and fighting hard. Water clarity is cracking, weed growth – none (more lake shadow coming next week), and the loch’s buzzing with life.
