Location & Directions

Wormit Trout Fishery is set in North Fife, just minutes from Dundee via the Tay Road Bridge and a short drive from St Andrews. Use the map below for directions and allow enough time to arrive, park and get settled before fishing.

If you are attending a hosted experience, group booking or event, please follow the arrival details sent with your booking confirmation.

Directions to Fishery

From Dundee: Around 15 minutes via the Tay Road Bridge.

From St Andrews: Around 20 minutes through North Fife.

From Edinburgh: Around 60 minutes via the M90.

From Glasgow: Around 90 minutes via the M8 and M90.

Nearest rail station: Dundee. Transfers can be discussed for selected private or hosted bookings.

Parking: On-site parking is available. Please use the anglers’ car park unless instructed otherwise.

Opening & Booking

Standard open days: Wednesday to Sunday.

Full day rods: Dawn to dusk, booked online in advance.

Evening rods: Seasonal evening rods are released online at 2pm on the day of fishing only, when suitable day rod availability remains.

Hosted experiences: Half-day and full-day options, arranged in advance.

Groups, clubs and corporate days: Available by arrangement, subject to availability.

Winter: Reduced winter rates may apply from November to March.

Controlled rod numbers: Wormit is managed around space, fish welfare and a quieter style of fly fishing.

Clear stillwater: A six-acre water with hard-fighting trout and strong natural feeding patterns.

Hosted options: Beginners and visitors can book experiences with tackle, tuition and guidance included.
