These terms apply to group bookings at Wormit Trout Fishery, including angling club bookings, corporate fishing days, team building days, exclusive use, private events and bespoke hosted group bookings.
1. Group Bookings & Payments
- A group booking is only confirmed once availability has been agreed and the required deposit or full payment has been received.
- A deposit may be required to secure your date. The deposit amount and balance due date will be confirmed before payment.
- The remaining balance is normally due before the event date, according to the terms agreed at booking.
- Payment may be made by bank transfer, debit/credit card, payment link or other agreed method. American Express is not accepted.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- More than 30 days before the event: rescheduling or partial refund may be available, less any agreed deposit and costs already incurred.
- 14 to 30 days before the event: rescheduling may be offered subject to availability. Refunds may be reduced to reflect guide, venue, catering or third-party commitments.
- Less than 14 days before the event: refunds are not normally available.
- Rescheduling is subject to fishery, staffing, guide, catering and weather availability.
- Any third-party services, such as catering, transport or partner experiences, may have their own cancellation terms.
3. Weather, Fish Welfare & Fishery Closures
- Fly fishing is an outdoor activity and may continue in normal weather conditions.
- The fishery may postpone, transfer or amend a booking where conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
- This may include severe weather, lightning, high winds, fish welfare concerns, high water temperatures, essential maintenance or safety issues.
- If the fishery postpones an event, we will work with you to arrange a suitable alternative date or solution.
4. Group Numbers & Final Details

- Final numbers, experience levels, catering requirements and access needs must be confirmed by the agreed deadline before the event.
