What are the fishing times?

Dawn til dusk for day permits. Evening permits (April\–October) start at 4:30pm.

Is it fly fishing only?

Yes. It\’s fly fishing only \— no bait, spinning or treble hooks.

Do I need to use barbless hooks?

Yes. Barbless hooks are required unless you have pre\‑paid for a kill ticket.

How many rods are allowed per day?

We limit access to 12 rods per day to maintain a premium, uncrowded experience.

Can I share a rod or ticket?

No. Rod sharing isn\’t permitted \— each angler must have their own ticket.

Catch & release as standard. If you want to keep a fish, add a Kill Ticket at booking: \£8 per rainbow trout under 5lb. Kill tickets apply to rainbow trout only.

All standard day rods and evening rods must be booked online. This keeps availability clear, avoids phone reservations and helps manage the fishery fairly.

Hosted experiences, group bookings, corporate days, angling club outings and exclusive-use bookings should be arranged in advance through the booking request route.

Evening rods are shown online but are released at 2pm on the day of fishing only, depending on day rod availability. If evening rods are not available online after 2pm, they are not available for that day.
