Larger groups: Larger hosted groups can be arranged by enquiry and quoted separately. Depending on group size, experience levels and tackle requirements, additional guide support may be brought in to keep the session safe, practical and worthwhile.

Please note: Hosted experiences are priced per person and are separate from standard day rods. Day rods are for experienced anglers fishing independently with their own tackle and do not include tuition, guiding or equipment.

A private, fully hosted introduction to fly fishing at Wormit Trout Fishery.

Set within the peaceful surroundings of our six-acre stillwater in North Fife, this half-day experience is designed for complete beginners, couples, families and visiting guests who want to try fly fishing properly.

No previous experience is required. Your session includes tackle, tuition and guided fishing throughout, with time spent learning the basics of casting, fly selection, fish handling and how to approach the water.

The pace is relaxed and practical. The aim is to give you a proper introduction to fly fishing in a quiet, well-managed setting, without feeling rushed or left to work it out for yourself.
